Legendary Gold Limited has been a vanguard in the Nigerian fashion and modeling industries. In its 13 years of operation, it has become the reference point and leader in packaging and organizing fashion and modeling events in Nigeria.

Its major events till date are The Nigeria Fashion Show, The Nigeria Fashion Week, The Nigeria Fashion Awards and The Nigeria Model Awards. All these events are organized annually.

The local edition of The Nigeria Fashion Show has been staged since 1997 in Lagos and Abuja. The international editions started in 2000 in Paris, Milan, Stockholm and Cape Town, New York, Washington, Houston, Tel Aviv, Rome etc.

The international events are organized in collaboration with the Nigerian Embassies in the various countries it is held.

In December 2003, Legendary Gold Limited signed a franchise contract in Paris with the international global television channel, Fashion TV. This contract includes the rights to stage The Fashion TV Model Awards in Nigeria and to have FTV as the international media partner for our various events

In 2004, Legendary Gold Limited signed a contract with New York based Ford Supermodel of the World contest. Organised by ford models.

Endorsement

*In 2007, the Nigeria Fashion Week was endorsed by the World Fashion Association (WFA). The WFA organizes the World Fashion Week scheduled for New York in May, 2009 with 41 countries participating. Legendary Gold Limited co-ordinates Nigeria’s participation in the global event.

Also, following our contribution to the growth and development of the fashion industry in Africa, the president of Legendary Gold, Lexy Mojo Eyes was appointed into the international committee of the World Fashion Association.

World Fashion Week

Legendary Gold Limited co-ordinates Nigeria’s participation in the World Fashion Week. To this end, World Fashion Week-Nigeria will be launched at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja on the 18^th of October 2008. It’s in collaboration with the ministries of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Information and Communication.
